# Problem

Our current educational system isn't just outdated, it's actually harmful to those who participate in it.

* **Lack of choice** - Parents and teachers don't have a say in who teaches, what is learned, where they learn, or how learning takes place.
* **No individualized attention** - Too many students in one classroom. If you're behind or ahead of the curve you will not be given what you need to succeed.
* **Lacking innovation** - There are plenty of cutting-edge service providers and educational practices out there but they are ignored in the current one-size-fits-all approach.
* **Misplaced incentives** - Learners are not incentivized or engaged in meaningful ways.
* **Debt Slavery -** The system encourages 17 & 18-year-olds to take dangerous amounts of loans regardless of whether they'll benefit from them or are even ready for college.

So how do we fix it?
